BODYBUILDING AT THE ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS: IRAN KEEPS IN THE TOP; IRAQ IS PROGRESSING.

The 2nd session of the 2018 Asian Championships celebrated in Ulaan Baatar (Mongolia) was more than spectacular for worldwide Bodybuilding supporters. The favorite team –Iran– did not disappointed and took up to 6 Gold medals in this discipline, beside the overall title with the magnificent new star, Majid Jamehbozorg. With China and Bahrain reaching the gold, as well, in the lightest categories; the surprise was the progression of Iraq, with a fantastic team that reached 3 Gold medals, beside 4 Silver and 2 Bronzes. An amazing progression that gave a beautiful image for the fans: the presidents of National Federations from Iran and Iraq, awarding together their respective winners. ¡This is sport!

The winners in Bodybuilding were, as follows:

Up to 55 kg: Shen Jin (China)
Up to 60 kg: Guayad Sami (Iraq)
Up to 65 kg: Ali M. Abdulrasool (Bahrain)
Up to 70 kg: Fershad Ganji (Iran)
Up to 75 kg: Faramarz Azizi (Iran)
Up to 80 kg: Hossein Gazmeh (Iran)
Up to 85 kg: Mehdi Arzeshmand (Iran)
Up to 90 kg: Mohammed H. Taha (Iraq)
Up to 95 kg: Majid Jamehbozorg (Iran)
Up to 100 kg: Ali Salim Jasim (Iraq)
Over 100 kg: Seyed Mehedi A. (Irán)
