I was listening to a bodybuilding podcast and one guy was saying that he was taking Metformin during contest prep and it helped him stay full. Metformin is an oral drug used typically in type 2 diabetics in order to lower blood sugar by increasing insulin sensitivity and allowing more glucose to be used in the muscles. Anyone have experience with Metformin that could give some insight? I'm surprised it's not more commonly talked about since a prescription isn't required (in the US) and it's dirt cheap.
