Did anybody get into bodybuilding for any unique reasons other than wanting to look/feel better and attract more sexual/romantic attention?

Those are typically the main reasons why anyone starts lifting and those are probably yours too. But do you have any other reasons, such as wanting to compensate for something, wanting to be someone else, breaking a stereotype, coping with mental illness, rebelling against something, or escaping something? Was it for a fit SO?
