How to build a non-gym bodybuilding routine?

How does someone who doesn't have access to a gym or regular equipment build the best bodybuilding routine they can? I understand that weights and modern equipment give a significant advantage. But I want to develop a routine that doesn't require it.

I'm not just asking about getting in shape. I'm asking about doing bodybuilding with muscle hypertrophy.
