If I only train my lower body 3x a week, will my upper body look like shit?

I don't want a wide back or thick shoulders and people say girls can't get big, but when a small girl lifts, it shows so idk what they're talking about.

anyway, i'm planning to have 3 leg days basically, but will I look mushy up top? Will squats and deadlifts do anything? :/
